Two men were shot about 10:45 a.m. in the 6000 block of South Cottage
Grove in the Woodlawn neighborhood. One was shot in the chest and
taken to Northwestern Memorial, while the other was shot in the lower part of
his body and taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
The two were on the street when they were shot, and witnesses told police two
other men on bikes who may have carried out the attack rode quickly
south on Cottage Grove after the attack
