13-year-old boy shot in Woodlawn
At about 9 p,.m., a 13-year-old boy was shot in the 6400 block of South Drexel Avenue in the
Woodlawn neighborhood. He too was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital in good
condition

I'm sorry but if your CHILD is shot while they are still living under your roof then it's no ones fault but their own. There are a lot of safe neighborhoods in this city that people can live in with low rent. My sister has lived in 3 different neighbors this year all over this city and her rent has always been below $700. There is just no excuse. These parents are too comfortable and it's killing their children. They fail to realize that their children are the real targets not them. Even if your child is in a gang
you should do all you can to protect them. Move out. Do
what you have to do. They will thank you in the end.
Most of these kids don't want to live in these neighborhoods. They don't want to have to fight to make it out alive. If your son joins a gang it's probably because there dumb ass parents arent giving them any direction or guidance. Take care of your kids or someone else will.
