One person was wounded this afternoon in a shooting on the West Side in the
city's East Garfield Park neighborhood.
Chicago Fire Department paramedics responded shortly after 12 p.m. near the
intersection of Pulaski Road and Gladys Avenue.
A Fire Media spokesman said one person was taken in serious-to-critical
condition to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County.
