A 17-year-old girl was reportedly sexually assaulted in the Avondale neighborhood
on the Northwest Side.
The incident happened at about 5:30 p.m. Tuesday as the girl was walking home
on the 2700 block of North Artesian Avenue.
The girl entered the vehicle of a man she didn’t
know when he offered to give her a ride. The man drove her a
short distance to an alley, where he sexually assaulted her
The
teen was treated at St. Mary Medical Center and released.
