Man shot multiple times near South Side park
A man described as in his 20s was shot several times late this morning near Ellis
Park on the city’s South Side.
The shooting happened about 11:30 a.m. on
the 700 block of East 37th Street in the city’s Oakland neighborhood.
The man suffered several wounds to the lower part of his body. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition
has stabilized.
