A 15-year-old boy was fatally wounded this afternoon steps away from his home on
the South Side in the city's Back of the Yards neighborhood.
Jaime Ruvalcaba of the 1900 block of West 47th Street was pronounced dead at
4:50 p.m. at Stroger Hospital.
.Ruvalcaba was wounded in his stomach, groin and left arm. He was taken in
critical condition to Stroger Hospital where he later died
