Woman stabbed to death in Edgewater
Officers discovered a 53-year-old Elle Mills stabbed in the chest at an
apartment in the 6100 block of North Sheridan Road in the Edgewater
neighborhood.
She was dead at the scene, according to a medical examiner's spokesman.
Police were called to the scene by the woman's boyfriend, who admitted to
stabbing the woman to responding officers

Follow this story. The police were called by the woman at 5:30 PM about seven hours prior to her stabbing. The police came and interviewed the woman who had complained about her assailant.
