Man shot in South Chicago UPDATE

about 2:14 a.m., police were called to the 8800 block of South Exchange Avenue in the South Chicago neighborhood for a report of a person shot at that location. When they arrived they found a 48-year-old man in an abandoned lot with a gunshot wound to his right temple.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition
UPDATE:
Kelly Vann, 49, of the 8900 block of South Commercial Avenue, was declared dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center after being shot in the 8800 block of South Exchange Avenue early today, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
