17-year-old shot in Park Manor

A 17-year-old was wounded in an attack on the 7200 block of South Champlain Avenue in the city's Park Manor neighborhood at about 6:42 p.m. Preliminary reports said the boy was standing on the sidewalk when a gray minivan pulled up and someone inside fired shots, striking the boy in his abdomen and right foot. He was taken in serious-to-critical condition to Stroger Hospital
