A woman texting on her iPhone
was robbed in a South Loop Red Line subway last night.
She was not hurt but the thieves made off with the phone during the robbery
in the 600 block of South State Street about 7:15 p.m. last night.
The woman was texting on her iPhone while standing on a Red Line subway
platform at the Harrison Street station when she was approached from behind.
"The offender runs up behind her and snatched the phone out of her hands,"
said a lieutenant.
Two males BLACKS fled up the stairs leading to Polk Street and no arrests have been
made as of late Saturday morning. The two were only described as being in their
late teens, wearing T-shirts and jeans.
The victim, in her early 20s, lives in the area and was not injured

Why is BLACKS in black and capitalized? Stop with the propaganda. According to the United States Justice Department, the majority of gang activity in the US is NOT done by Blacks, but HISPANICS.

If you have to 'axe' why they're identified as BLACKS you just haven't been paying attention to crime in Chicago. Granted Mexs' are a distant second place with Whitey a statistically insignificant blip on the savage radar screen.
Wonder why they don't say MEXICANS with the crimes related to little village,Humbolt, and back of the yards. Yes blacks are put n the forfront of the paper but statistically I bet Latino's out number the blacks per crime period reported n not reported..
