A man in his mid 20s was shot on the 1300 block of West Washburne Avenue in
the University Village / Little Italy neighborhood about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police responding to call of shots fired and found him on the ground. He was
taken to John
H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County where he died.
UPDATE:
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified him as Jermaine Arnold, of
the 600 block of East 89th Street.
