2 shot in Jeffery Manor

Shortly before 9 p.m. on the 9800 block of South Merrion Avenue in the city's Jeffery Manor neighborhood, an 18-year-old man was shot in the back and a 20-year-old man in the right shoulder. The 18-year-old was taken in serious-to-critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition has stabilized. The other man was taken to Advocate Trinity Hospital
