In the North Austin neighborhood, two men were shot when two gunmen fired
into a crowd in the 5200 block of West North Avenue at about 9:20 p.m. Tuesday.
A 48-year-old man was struck in the abdomen and a 21-year-old man was struck
in the shoulder. Both victims were taken to John
H. Stroger Hospital, where the older man was listed in serious condition and
the younger man was listed in good condition
