A 13-year-old died after getting shot in the 6200 block of South Rhodes
Avenue. A man was shot in the same block the night before. The boy
was shot about 1:20 a.m. and taken to Comer Children's Hospital.
UPDATE:
In the shootings overnight,Tyquan Tyler, 13, was at a party with his sister,
19, in the 6200 block of South Rhodes Avenue when a fight broke out about 1:20
a.m., police said. The two ran from the fight but someone pulled a gun and fire,
hitting the boy
