Two men, 26 and 27, were shot about 10:30 p.m. on the 5300 block of South
Justine Street in the Back of the Yards neighborhood. The older man was
shot in the head and taken to Stroger hospital in critical condition. The
younger was taken to Holy Cross, in stable condition, with a wounded arm.
UPDATE:
Marcus Morgan of the 8000 block of South Ada Street was pronounced dead at 3:20
p.m. today at Stroger
Hospital, according to a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's
office.
