Dead woman found in Lawndale UPDATED

 Body of a woman believed to be between 20 and 30 years old found in the 1500 block of South Sawyer Avenue. There was no indication how the woman might have died, and police were conducting a death investigation.
UPDATE:
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a homicide, the medical examiner's office found today. She remained unidentified.
