23-year-old man shot in South Shore
A 23-year-old man said he was crossing the street in the 7500 block of South
Colfax Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood at about 12:43 a.m. when he heard
a gunshot and felt pain in his back. His cousin took him to Jackson
Park Hospital and Medical Center for treatment.
