A man already in jail in connection with a home invasion and accused in an earlier one has been charged with a third in the Rogers Park neighborhood in which a woman awoke to find him exposing himself.
Deonta Mackey, 31, who also uses the alias Frederick Lipscomb, was charged Friday with home invasion in an incident that occurred in the 6600 block of North Glenwood Avenue on Feb. 27.
During the incident, Mackey entered a residence on Glenwood where a 25-year-old woman was sleeping on her couch
She lifted up her eye mask and saw Mackey about two feet in front of her, exposing himself. When he climbed on top of her, she screamed, “What are you doing?” and he apologized and fled through a back door.
Records show that Mackey, who told police he lived on the 300 block of West Armitage Avenue, also has an address in the 1600 block of West North Shore Avenue.
He was already in jail in a home invasion that happened about 11:30 p.m. on March 14 in the 1200 block of West North Shore Avenue. According to the Cook County Sheriff’s office, Mackey was booked into Cook County Jail March 16, after a judge denied bail in the North Shore incident.
Details about the March incident were not immediately available.
Police said Mackey, who is also known as Fredrick J. Lipscomb, was charged in an earlier home invasion and unlawful restraint on May 12, 2011. A judge on May 13, 2011, set his bail at $300,000, and he was released on bond sometime before a hearing on Feb. 23, according to court records. The case has not yet been resolved.
