The shooting happened at 9:40 p.m. on the 2100 block of North Kilpatrick
Avenue when a 20-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his his wrist.
The man was on Kilpatrick when a man went up to him and began
firing shots in his direction. The victim was taken to Advocate
Illinois Masonic Medical center in good condition.
After the
shooting, police were able to arrest a man who was identified by the victim as
the shooter. Charges are pending.
