19-year-old man wounded in East Garfield Park neighborhood

Just before 11 p.m. Sunday, a 19-year-old man was wounded in the thigh in an apparent drive-by shooting in the 500 block of North Springfield Avenue in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The victim was standing on the street when a backseat passenger in a passing olive green car opened fire from the vehicle.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was listed as stable
