A shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. in the 6300 block of South Seeley Avenue in the West Englewood neighborhood.
Police initially received calls of a person shot but initially couldn't find anyone. The victim, 20, later turned up at nearby Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot to the neck, police said, citing early reports.
Witnesses found the wounded man and took him to the hospital located nearly two miles away
