A man was shot and killed early Monday in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.
Andre Pierce, 34, was pronounced dead at 6:08 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Police said Pierce was shot at 1:35 a.m. outside his home in the 2500 block of West Lexington Street.
Police were called to the scene when someone saw a man down on the sidewalk, and arrived to find Pierce shot several times in the chest
