A 36-year-old man was killed on the 7500 block of South Wolcott Avenue in the Gresham neighborhood about 1:20 a.m..
He was at a party on the block, in a back yard, when someone drove by and opened fire.
Police said the man, who didn't have a criminal history, was pronounced dead at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
