Several people were being questioned in connection with a fatal shooting on the far South Side.
The 31-year-old man killed there was among at least 13 people shot between 4:40 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. across the city.
He was shot across the street from his home on 113th Place between State Street and South Michigan Avenue.
David Gulley, 31, was pronounced dead at Roseland Community Hospital about 5:10 p.m.
Calumet District officers saw the shooting and brought several people in for questioning. During the investigation, police added, up to three guns were recovered.
No charges have been filed as police continued their investigation early Friday morning. People were still being questioned as of 5 a.m.
