21-year-old shot in Austin
At about 6:18 p.m., a 21-year-old man was walking on the 4900 block of West Ferdinand Street when he was shot in the thigh.
Police said the man was shot by someone who fired from a passing vehicle. No information about the vehicle was available.
The man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition had stabilized
