Two students were stabbed and seriously wounded inside or in front of a South Deering neighborhood school this morning, and another student has been arrested in the attack.
The stabbing occurred around 7:30 a.m. in the 10200 block of South Crandon Avenue, authorities said. Both injured students were taken in serious-to-critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
UPDATE:
Reports indicate there had been an ongoing dispute between the teen in custody and the teen who died, police said. The suspect attacked the other teen and wounded another student who apparently got in the way.
The stabbing took place at AMIKids Infinity Chicago, an alternative school that contracts with the Chicago Board of Education

Christian Gonzalez, 17, of the 4000 block of South Talman Avenue, was charged at 1:15 p.m. with one count of murder and attempted murder
