17-year-old shot in Back of the Yards
A 17-year-old boy was shot on the 4500 block of South Wood Street about 7:00 p.m.
He made it to John H. Stroger Jr., Hospital of Cook County without help from an ambulance and walked in with gunshot wounds to his leg and hip.
He was on the sidewalk when someone inside a dark-colored sedan drove by and opened fire
