One dead in Lake Shore Drive car crash

A woman died after her car hit a tree on Lake Shore Drive early Sunday morning.
The crash happened at 2900 South Lake Shore Drive about 4:45 a.m..
It's not clear if she was the only occupant of the car. The Chicago Police Department was only notified of one occupant, but the Chicago Fire Department said two people were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital from the scene in serious-to-critical condition.
