Man dies after being pulled from Chicago River
A young man died at a Chicago hospital Tuesday night a short time after officers from the Chicago police's Marine unit pulled him from the south branch of the Chicago River.
Marine unit officers pulled the 20-year-old man from the chilly waters at about 8:30 p.m. on Roosevelt Road near Lumber Street on the city's Near West Side.
