About 12:30 p.m. a bunch of students began fighting in the lunchroom at Al Raby School for Community and Environment, 3545 W. Fulton Blvd.
When the lone Chicago Police officer assigned to the school intervened to try to break it up, the dispute escalated and she was bitten in the right hand three times, allegedly by a 17-year-old girl who was involved in the fight.
Four female students were arrested and taken to the Harrison District station where authorities are considering charging the 17-year-old as an adult with aggravated battery to a police officer, while the others are expected to be cited as juveniles with mob action
