Man shot and killed on Far South Side

A man was shot to death in the Fernwood neighborhood this afternoon across the street from his home.
Lamaro Parker, 21, was declared dead at 2:42 p.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office. The victim wsa shot in the chest in the 300 block of West 104th Place about 1:40 p.m..
