Police are seeking a man who was behind the wheel of a vehicle that rammed three pedestrians including a child while “chasing” someone else during a domestic incident this afternoon in the Gresham neighborhood.
The crash occurred about 2 p.m. in the 8700 block of South Ashland Avenue.
Police said the driver is a man who was allegedly trying to “chase” a woman during a domestic fight. During the pursuit, the vehicle hit three pedestrians who were not involved in the fight. One of them is a child. They were all listed in good condition.
After hitting the people, the motorist then got the woman in the car and then fled with her inside, police said. Police declined to issue a description of the car because the driver was still being sought.
Two people were initially taken to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park in fair condition and a third was taken in serious condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn
