A man the FBI suspects of robbing a downtown bank branch three times since August held up the same bank again this afternoon, according to the FBI.
The man entered the Chicago Community Bank branch, 52 E. Lake St., about 1:30 p.m., and went up to a teller counter, according to the FBI. The man gave the teller a note that implied he had a gun and demanded money.
Although the man threatened to harm the teller, he did not display a gun, according to a release from the FBI.
The man then fled on foot, heading east toward Michigan Avenue.
The robber was described as a black man in his 40s, standing about 5-foot-8. He was wearing a baseball cap and a white tank top in today's robbery
