A man was seriously wounded this morning in a shooting on the South Side in the city's Englewood neighborhood.
The shooting happened shortly before 9 a.m. on the 5700 block of South Green Street.
The man, who suffered gunshot wounds to his leg and hand, was taken to Stroger Hospital. A fire media spokesman said the man was taken to the hospital in serious-to-critical condition.
