A West Garfield Park man died after being shot while driving a block from his home this afternoon.
Orlando Davis, 32, of the 4200 block of West Jackson Boulevard, was found shot to death in the 4100 block of West Jackson.
Police were called to the area just before 1:40 p.m., when witnesses heard shots fired and saw the Jeep the victim was driving east on Jackson crash into a fence.
Officers who went to the scene found Jackson slumped over and shot in the Jeep
