A man was critically injured late Sunday night in a shooting in the Roseland neighborhood on the city's Far South Side.
The 24-year-old victim was getting out of a car in an alley in the 10900 block of South Eggleston Avenue at about 11:40 p.m. when a masked man, armed with a semi-automatic pistol, approached and opened fire, striking the victim in the abdomen, police said.
The gunman fled north on foot
