Boy, 17, shot in head in West Pullman neighborhood

A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized after being shot in the head in the city's West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said this morning.
Police said that the teen was walking with a group of males in the 11800 block of South Perry Avenue at about 9:22 p.m. Monday when a gunman inside a red car opened fire on the group.
The victim was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.
UPDATE: Marqwell Seabron, of the 100 block of 117th Street, was shot about three blocks from his West Pullman home. He was pronounced dead at 12:35 a.m
