23-year-old man shot dead in the Park Manor neighborhood

A 23-year-old man was shot in his head and neck and found dead in an alley in the Park Manor neighborhood just before midnight Thursday.
The man was hanging out with two people in the 7100 block of South Rhodes Avenue when he went to the alley to use the bathroom at about 11:45 p.m. when he was shot.
The Cook County medical examiner's office identified the man as Antonio Common, of the 7500 block of South Champlain Avenue. He was pronounced dead at 3:20 a.m.
Nobody is in custody and police didn’t immediately have a description of the offender or offenders.
