A Humboldt Park neighborhood man is expected in court Friday after police say he was nabbed while riding a bicycle shortly after robbing his fourth business in three weeks.
Angel Hernandez-Luna, 21, of the 1600 block of North Spaulding Avenue, was charged for four separate aggravated robberies from Sept. 10 through Wednesday.
Hernandez-Luna allegedly used a replica pistol during the robberies of two Walgreens — one in the 3100 block of West Irving Park Road and the other in the 4000 block of West Irving Park Road. He also robbed a Dunkin’ Donuts in the 5000 block of West Irving Park Road and, on Wednesday night, a 7-Eleven in the 3500 block of North Cicero Avenue.
He was arrested Wednesday at 11:19 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Kilpatrick shortly after the 7-Eleven holdup.
Investigators had been passing out flyers of the suspect’s picture following the first three robberies and police learned someone fitting that description was riding a bicycle on Kilpatrick
