Boy, 3, dead after West Side domestic incident

A 3-year-old boy was stabbed to death and his mother injured in an apparent domestic incident with the boy's father on the West Side.
The incident happened at about 11:15 a.m. in the 5000 block of West Division Street.
 The man who stabbed them is believed to be the boy's father and may have jumped from a second-story window to elude officers.
Police have him in custody. The child is identified as Jaivon Sandifer, 3, of the 5000 block of West Division Street.
