32 year old shot in Little Village neighborhood

Shooting occurred about 9:19 p.m. Friday in the 3900 block of West 24^th Street in the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side.
A 32-year-old man was riding a bicycle when he was approached by a car; after a “verbal exchange,” a passenger in the car‘s front seat fired a handgun at the bicyclist, hitting him in the abdomen. The offenders fled in an unknown direction, and the victim was taken in serious condition to Mt. Sinai Hospital.
