Three people, including a 17-year-old boy, were shot as they sat in a van on the city's Far South Side.
The shooting was reported just before 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of East 113th Street in the city's Roseland neighborhood.
Police found evidence of the shooting, including the bullet-riddled van. Reports indicated that the three male victims, ages 17, 20 and 22, were sitting in the parked van when a gunman in a red car drove by and opened fire, striking all three.
The two older men suffered only graze wounds and were taken to Roseland Community Hospital in good condition, police said.
The teen was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn to be treated for a gunshot wound to the abdomen but was expected to survive.
