woman shot dead

On the city's Southeast Side, at about 9:17 p.m. Sunday, police said a 27-year-old woman was with several people inside a garage in the 11100 block of
South Ewing Avenue
 at about 9:17 p.m., when a gray-colored vehicle pulled up and fired several shots and fled.
The woman, shot in the head, was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, said Officer Veejay Zala, a police spokesman.
