A 31-year-old man was shot and wounded this morning on the city's Southwest Side, police said.
The victim was with a group of friends getting into a car in the 5500 block of
South Pulaski Roadwhen his group began arguing with a man in another vehicle, police said.
The man got out, pulled a handgun and opened fire, striking the victim in the upper back and delivering a graze wound to his head, police said.
The victim's friends drove him toHoly Cross Hospital before he was transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn , where his condition was described as "guarded," police said.
