A man was seriously injured this morning in a shooting on the city's West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side, police said.
Police said they discovered the victim, a 31-year-old man, lying wounded on the sidewalk at about 12:50 a.m. in the 11800 block of South Princeton Avenue.
The man had gunshot wounds to the face and body, said Officer Hector Alfaro, a police spokesman.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, Alfaro said.
Police didn't have a description of the gunman and hadn't yet made any arrests.
