TWO MEN SHOT ON WESTSIDE

Two men were shot about 4 p.m. on the 1500 block of North Leamington Avenue, according to police. The two were standing at that location when a gunman emerged from a nearby gangway and fired.

A 31-year-old man was struck in the left arm and was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where his condition was stabilized, police said. A 22-year-old man was wounded in the right leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
