A teenage boy was seriously wounded in a shooting in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side this morning, authorities said.
The 17-year-old was shot in the 11800 block of South Eggleston Avenue just after 8 a.m., said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, who said no other details were available.
A Fire Department ambulance took one shooting victim who was seriously wounded to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, a Fire Department spokesman said.
