Man shot in Chatman

At about 5:30 p.m., a man was shot in his leg in the Chatham neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
That shooting happened about 5:30 p.m. on the 8000 block of

South Ingleside Avenue

The victim, 25, was on the sidewalk when he heard shots and felt pain. He was taken in fair condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to his right leg.
