18 YR. Shot on South Side

At 10:55 p.m. in the South Chicago neighborhood, an 18-year-old man was shot in the lower back in the 3000 block of
East 79th Place
. The man was standing on a porch when several people approached on foot and fired shots at him. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition, a release said.
