A man wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet was found shot to death in the backyard of a South Chicago neighborhood home this morning, police said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was found by police officers who went to the home in the 7900 block of South Manistee Avenue about 8:15 a.m. after calls to 911 reporting gunshots, said Chicago Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.
The man had been shot multiple times and was dead when police arrived, Perez said.
He was wearing an electronic monitoring bracelet, police said.
